We had a great weekend at Goulburn. At the end of the first day Mercer & Hobbs were in front with a win & draw in the A Grade. In the B Grade Longfield were in front with a win & draw.

Sunday morning saw Goulburn B trounce Longfield who found it difficult to convert goals. Greg Read & his team pushed on & finished victors against Gundalong.

In the A Grade Silver was on the table! Wandara came out firing, Mercer & Hobbs were slow to react. In the second period of play Jono Bush scored the winning goal. Goulburn A, Richard Maple-Brown had his troops far better drilled forcing a draw with Mercer & Hobbs. In the final couple of chukkas the ‘Sideliners’ saw some competitive polo seeing a much deserved win going to Goulburn A over Wandara to win the Legge Cup.

Goulburn Polo Club (Pinea) is hosting low goal polo on 9 & 10 October. Newcomers and beginners are welcome, low goal polo will be between 0 - 4 goal level. $100 entry fee (& ambulance) & players must be registered NSWPA Club members on ( ClubsOnline)

A BBQ or drinks in town will be organised for Saturday night.
