2023 Polo International 9 April Windsor Polo Club
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2023 Polo International at Windsor Polo Club.
The 2023 Men’s International was won by ARGENTINA Rauli Laplacette (c), Paco O’Dwyer, Manuel Llorente, Pilu O’Dwyer defeating AUSTRALIA 11-5.
Congratulations to Rauli Laplacette on winning the MVP and horse 'Gin and Tonic' winning Champion Pony.
Congratulations to the Australian Team - Ruki Ballieu (c), Alec White, Dirk Gould, Lachie Gilmore on a seriously good performance, it was thrilling game.
In the Women’s International it was a win for Australia 9 -6 over England. Congratulations Australia - Indi Bennetto (c), Shannon Booth, Ashley Glennie, Phillipa Fitz-Henry and to the runners up Team England - Sarah Wiseman, Emma Sanderson, Lottie Lamacraft, Lucy Bowman.
Indi Bennetto won Most Valuable Player and horse 'Pasha' took home the Champion Pony.
Our NSW Junior Team were successful against South Island NZ. Congratulations - Tom Parry-Okeden, Archie Dowling, Cody Grimes (c), Blake Grimes against visiting team South Island NZ - Skye Turner, Max Dormer, Tom Turner, Ed Davidson.
Congratulations to Cody Grimes on winning Most Valuable Player and to his horse 'Cherry' on winning Champion Pony.
A huge thank you to the team at Windsor Polo Club, led by WPC President Julie McIntosh for putting on such a fantastic day. The sun shone brightly and the atmosphere was pure joy as we watched three fabulous games of polo.
