AUTUMN 2013 TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
This autumn season Millamolong will host two tournaments:

Volvo Cup and DeRussie Cup (John Davis Volvo Polo Carnival)
Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 March

This is our primary fundraising event for the year. It will be a busy weekend, fully catered, with a number of non-polo activities, spread over both days. It has been structured to draw crowds on Sunday as well as Saturday. As such, we will need to limit the event to 10 teams with 5 matches per day.

We are hoping to attract 4 teams in the A grade (10-14 goal) and 6 teams in the B grade (4 goal).

We are pleased to confirm that Wal Ashton is bringing his 14-goal team as part of his Dudley Cup preparation. Wal’s professional players will also be available to play in the B grade, so we will be able to accommodate a number of lower goal players to make up 4-goal teams.We will run a low-goal C grade, if we don’t get enough teams in the A and B grades. As numbers allow we can cater for individual nomination and team nominations.

Because we are limited to 10 teams for this event, nominations will be on a “first in, best dressed” basis.

James and Jamie Ashton Memorial Cups (Country Classic Series)
Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 May

This is our regular annual “country-classic” style weekend with a full complement of teams spread over 3 or 4 grades. There will be no non-polo sponsor activities.

TEAM & INDIVIDUAL NOMINATIONS
We welcome team and individual nominations and encourage you to nominate as early as possible due to the limited number of matches. Doubling up between grades will be allowed, as circumstances require. CHUKKA FEES
Tournament chukka fees are $150 per player (Millamolong members receive a 50% discount). Prompt payment is appreciated as we do not have the resources to chase outstanding payments. Fees can be paid to Andrew Ashton, Richard Connell or Eugene Marais.

Our “wooden horse” is available for your use and will be located adjacent to the clubhouse.
