The President and Committee of the Folly Lodge Polo Club have pleasure of inviting all Clubs and individual players to our March 2007 tournament. It will be played over two weekends;

Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th
Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th

There will be a +6 goal competition limited to 6 teams and a 0 goal competition open to individual nominations and limited to 4 teams. Additionally, the 0 goal shall be limited to +2 goal players and below.



The two grades shall be played over two weekends with the finals on Sunday 18th March. Teams with the highest points at the end of Saturday 17th March 2007 shall play in the finals, subsidiary finals and so on. Points are 2 a win, 1 a draw and o a loss.



Food and drinks may be purchased at the club house each day of the tournament, including breakfast and lunch, and a function on both Saturday nights held at the Royal Hotel, Bowral.



Horse accommodation is available for all players on each of the Saturday nights and also during the week. Arrangements should be made with the Folly Lodge Club Captain at time of nomination and then arranged with each player and the various property owners.



Accommodation is widely available in the Southern Highlands at all cost points. There are also short stay rental properties available for weekend only. For these rentals please contact Sara Smith sara@hinet.net.au or 0412 011 847.

or 0412 253 676. We are trialing a limited number shared marquee this year with a focus on local wines and produce.



Chukka fees are $300 per player for the two weekends and must be paid prior to the tournament.



The club shall also host a “Juniors” game on Sunday 18th between the 0 goal and +6 goal finals. Nominations for juniors are free, however each player must be a registered “junior” with the Polo Association.

The field at Folly Lodge, Tourist Road, Glenquarry ( Bowral) is irrigated and boarded. The Club House is elevated with excellent viewing for spectators.
