With the two-week Ellerston tournament having just finished, the turnout for the Windsor weekend was excellent, with twenty four teams competing on three different fields. High winds on the Saturday created challenging conditions for players and grooms alike, but the Sunday games were played in glorious sunshine. There was an unexpected result in the C-grade, with Town and Country's two all female teams beating mixed/all male teams to get through to the final.

A Grade (10 goal): Town and Country IC Frith (Hamish Kelly, Richard Rawlings, Andrew Williams, Brendan Fahey) beat Winten (David Rothwell, Adam Tolhurst, Rob Ballard, Mark Tolhurst)

Best Playing Pony prize was awarded to Andrew Williams' 'Shui' and Richard Rawlings was awarded Best Team of Ponies.

B Grade (4 goal) Division A: Australian Sweets (Liam Jackson, Niall Donnelly, Luke O'Leary, Nick Hayes) beat Classic Safari Company (Vic Lewis, Archie Voorspur, Andrew Williams, Julie McIntosh).

Next tournament will be hosted by TOWN AND COUNTRY POLO CLUB at Muddy Flats Polo Field and Kurri Burri Polo Fields, Richmond, on 23 & 24 October. There will be 10-goal, 4-goal, 0-goal and an inaugural International Women's Club Challenge (Town and Country Polo Club vs South Island Polo Association, New Zealand). Spectators are very welcome on both days (with free entry).
