Welcome everyone to Forbes Polo Club 2025. We are excited about your attendance at our tournament. Here are a few important points for you to keep in mind:

We have experienced a challenging season at Forbes due to minimal rainfall since Christmas, along with damage to the irrigation system. Consequently, we have been unable to adequately water our fields, resulting in dry conditions. Please adapt your play accordingly.

Thanks to the tremendous efforts of some dedicated members and contractors (with special recognition for Dwayne), we have successfully built 96 new yards over the past week. A big thank you goes out to Lawson Grains for their support. While the new yards may be dusty now, they will prove invaluable assets for the Club in the future. Although there is a slight water shortage concern, we have made every effort to ensure water access for all attendees and will continue improving this aspect over time.

Additionally, there are 80 covered yards available at the FORBES Showgrounds as an alternative option if preferred over our own yards without causing offense.

The clubhouse will offer food and beverages starting from 10 am on Saturday, with breakfast being served from 8 am on Sunday. You are invited to join us for a relaxed dinner and drinks on Saturday evening after the final game (feel free to wear your whites).

Please use only the entrance marked with the FPC sign when entering the grounds.

As a close-knit and dynamic polo community, we strive to provide an enjoyable, competitive, and fun polo experience for all participants. We extend a warm welcome to everyone looking forward to an excellent weekend ahead.

Play Hard, Stay Safe, Man, Line, Ball.

Sam Gunn, Club Captain, Forbes Polo Club
