Results: NORTH STAR POLO CARNIVAL: 14 & 15 AUGUST 2010

The Tournament had 8 teams competing. The A Grade was won by the visiting Gold Coast team and a mixed Downs/Gunnedah team won the B Grade. Andrew Williams held a coaching session for newcomers to the game on the Friday before the weekend.

NORTH STAR POLO CARNIVAL
14th & 15th AUGUST 2010


Dear Polo Club Members,

The North Star Polo Club would like to extend an invitation to your club to nominate teams or individual players to participate in our carnival on 14th & 15th August 2010. There will be coaching for those interested on the Friday before the tournament by Andrew Williams who is coming up especially. The coaching will be for any person of any age who has played or is interested in learning how to play, temporary membership will be available. There will be also chuckers for everyone interested on the Friday.

Games will be held at the North Star polo fields and will consist of six and/or four chukkas. We are aiming for a 4 goal A grade and a 0-2 goal B grade. For the beginners there will be a game at the start of the day to give you an opportunity to play your first game. There will be a BBQ lunch and bar facilities available at the ground on both days. The North Star Sporting Club will be open for evening meals.

Please have your nominations in as soon as possible so we can work out the structure of the games. Please state your players’ names, positions, handicaps, team name and captain. Ground fees will be $160 per team.
