The tournament was favoured with good autumnal weather with 4 teams in 12 goal A Grade, 4 in 4-6 goal B Grade, 4 in 2 goal C Grade and six teams competing in -1 to 0 goal D Grade.

A plaque set in a sandstone block was unveiled by Mrs Greeba Pritchard widow of principal Club founder the late Les Pritchard commemorating some of the club's earliest supporters and listing the players participating in the match watched by the late Earl Mountbatten of Burma when he opened the ground.

In the A Grade final for Sir Philip Charley Trophy Ellerston Black beat Windsor 11-9.
Ellerston Black: J.J. White, N.W. Craig, M.P. Grimes and J.R.M. McHardy

In the A Grade subsidiary-final Sydney Red defeated Scone 9-5
Sydney Red: P.G. Higgins, W.A. Gilmore, R.G. Ballard and A.B. Aguirre

In the B Grade final for the M.K. Milne Trophy Sydney White beat All Sheds by close margin 6-5
Sydney White: R.M. Higgins, B.G.H. Donovan, W.A. Gilmore and A.N. Karoll

In the C Grade final for the Silver Bullet Trophy Ausure defeated Riverlands A by 6-4.
Ausure: R.W. Tresidder, M.A. O'Leary, M.A. Lillyman and S.T. Murphy

The Champion pony for Copabella Trophy judged by David Head was "Batiki" played by M.P. Grimes.

In Consolation games B Grade AYC beat Marshall 5-4.5, C Grade Killarney beat Town and Country 3-2.

In D Grade Seabeck beat Windsor B by 3-1, Windsor C beat Riverlands B by 7- 6.5 and Keltic defeated Sydney C by 12-2.5
