Jemalong will be holding a practice league from 26 August - 3 September.
Mid week chukkas will be held during these dates.

Jemalong Polo Ponies

 

Jemalong has been breeding polo ponies for approximately 35 years and has mounted very successful teams, including winning the Ellerston Gold cup (when it was 26g) and the Australian Open (22g).

Some of the original bloodlines have been increasingly topped up with the best genetics from Australia, New Zealand, Ellerston (UK & AUS) and Argentina.

During this period, some renowned polo players and breeders have been involved in the breeding programme, including Pat MacGinley and Cody Forsyth.

We regularly have horses for sale and a list of horses can be provided prior to the start dates of spring and autumn chukkas.

 

Spring Sale Trial chukkas at Jemalong

Jemalong currently have horses for sale ranging from 5 year old to 9 year old.

Jemalong will be having chukkas between the 26^th of August until the 3^rd of September. With some Five and Six year old horses for sale. Some of these horses will make their way down to Sydney from the 6^th of September until the 16^th of October.

 

Autumn Sale Trial chukkas at Jemalong

In the lead up to Ellerston Autumn Tournament, we will be selling a number of horses. There will be trial chukkas held at Jemalong over a ten day period in February (dates will be fixed when the Ellerston dates are known).

All these sale horses will have previously have played at Ellerston and will be prepared to be ready for playing at the Ellerston tournaments.

Range of age groups 6 age groups up to 9 year old.
