It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Elizabeth Austin, Ken Austin's former wife, who passed away last Thursday 12th June, 2014.
A constant ‘friend of polo’ and a life member of the NSW Polo Association, Elizabeth is remembered as caring and warm-hearted, always with a cheery face on the sideline with sticks and water during Ken's matches.
She is survived by her seven children, Jane, Mark, Virginia, Timothy, Caroline, Richard & David, who played alongside his father.
A funeral service will be held at 11.30am on Friday, 20th June, at St Joseph's Church, Albert St, Edgecliff.
All who knew Elizabeth are welcome to join the family at the funeral or afterwards at a celebration of her life at 12.30pm at Centennial Parklands Restaurant, Grand Drive, Centennial Park.
