The second tournament of the Hawkesbury spring season was played in perfect conditions on the Killarney and Windsor polo fields. Sixteen teams competed in fourteen matches over the two days, most of them proving to be competitive and resulting in close scores. It was a big weekend for Town and Country Polo Club, whose four teams all made it into their respective finals. The A Grade final was extremely toughly contested and resulted in a difference of just half a goal at the final bell.

A Grade (6 goal): Town and Country (Brendan Fahey, Ed Matthies, Greg Ballard, Marty Leacy) beat Town and Country White (Hamish Kelly, Sarah Martin, Adam Buchert, Rob Ballard)

B Grade (2 goal): Town and Country Blondies (Emma Braun, Tiki Brown, Rob Ballard, Mark Maritz) beat Windsor Black (Vic Lewis, Mark Tolhurst, Brodie Donovan, Amanda Tolhurst)

C Grade (0 goal): Altios (Josh Annear, Billie Mascart, Bruno Mascart, Hamish McGregor) beat Town and Country Black (Lisa Fahey, Danny Kerr, Ed Matthies, Gillian McCall)

The next tournament (14, 4 and 0 goal grades) will be the Sydney Polo Carnival to be held over Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 24, 25 and 26 September at Sydney Polo Country Club, Ridges Lane. Spectators welcome.
