Kurri Burri’s spring tournament was a spectacular day, the heavens parted and the sun drenched viewing mound was brought to life once again with smiles and laughter.

This years tournament had a spectacular turn out, which made for serious competition! In total 21 teams nominated, with 7 ten goal teams creating a spectators' delight.

Special thanks go to the Windsor and Kurrajong Polo clubs whom generously made their grounds available.

The 10 Goal Spring Trophy was won by Bob Hannon’s Bayview, in a hard fought battle over Westside 8 – 6. BPP was awarded to Ed Gould’s Locket.

The 10 goal subsidiary was won by Sydney Polo & Country Club over Millamolong 10 - 5.

4 Goal comprised of two divisions:
Division 1 saw Sydney defeat Town & Country / Classic Safari 10 - 5
Division 2 was won by Town & Country over Kurri Burri 8 - 4

0 Goal was won by the mighty Riverlands B defeating Windsor B 6 1/2 – 3

Thanks to all those who competed in the weekends events and we hope to have the pleasure in hosting you again next year.

The Windsor Club house will be open for food and beverages Saturday and Saturday night, Sunday Luis will set up by the Kurri Burri fields.

Backcreek will be by the grounds for the weekend so make sure you stock up on all you playing essentials.

It is imperative that games start on time and that duties are performed and responsibility resides with the players and team captains.

All spectators, friends & family welcome on Sunday 18th, 11am - 4pm - please see details on attached PDF Invitation. Lunch & drinks will be for sale on the side of Kurri Burri field no 1.

DIRECTIONS: Kurri Burri Polo Fields are situated in Powells Lane, Richmond Lowlands, one hour drive from Sydney. Please take M2 then M7, take the Richond Road exit, turn right onto Richmond Road which turns into Lennox Road, drive to end, turn right into Bosworth Street, drive to end and turn left into Francis Street, take next right into Onus Lane then next left into Powells Lane.


Please find attached teams for this weekends tournament & the draw for Thursday's 10 goal games. The weekends matches will be forwarded tomorrow, once Thursdays games are completed.

With 21 teams entered we will be utilising Windsor, Kurrajong and the Kurri Burri fields over the three days, thanks to our neighbour clubs!

Kurri Burri will be hosting its annual Spring Tournament this 17th & 18th October and would like to invite you to join us for a fantastic weekend of polo.

Grades will be as follows:
A Grade 10 Goal
B Grade 4 Goal
C Grade 0 Goal
