Please note the venue for there has been a slight change in plans following the service for Jaime's funeral. The celebration of Jaime's life will now be held at the Dungog Golf Club, Hanleys Creek Rd Dungog rather than the Dungog RSL.

FUNERAL DETAILS


Jaime Mackay's funeral will be held at 12.30pm this Friday 24th May at St Andrew's Presbyterian church, Dowling St, Dungog. A celebration of Jaime's life is to be held at the Dungog RSL, 100 Lord St, Dungog following the service.

TRIBUTES FLOW FOR JAIME MACKAY

Australia’s polo greats are among those mourning the death of Jaime Mackay.

Hall of Famers, former Australian captains, teammates and opponents are among many saddened by Jaime’s death.

Hall-of-Famer, Jim MacGinley described Jaime Mackay as “a thorough gentleman and decent man.” “I always enjoyed watching Jaime play, with or against me. He was a keen competitor and an excellent team player. Jaime was a very good friend who supported me through some difficult times.”

Former national coach Anto White said “Jaime was a wonderful horseman and a great player who always gave 100%. He gave a great deal to the game and will be sadly missed by us all.

Former Australian captain Stuart Gilmore described Jaime as “a great general and his horsemanship was second to none. Jaime was a gentleman and a loving family man.”
