Past NSWPA President Ian McDuie 1946 - 2023
It is with deep sadness we hear that past President of NSWPA, Ian McDuie has passed. Ian served on the NSWPA Board for 23 years and was Vice President and President of the NSWPA for 6 years.
Ian was also one of the most charismatic announcers ever to hold a microphone. He announced at the Sydney Show Ground from the roof top of the Council Stand for many years and kept us on the edge of our seats during many Dudley Cup Finals and Test Match challenges.
His contribution to polo in Australia was enormous and he will be sadly missed.
Our thoughts are very much with his family and his funeral will be held on the 4th April 1.30pm, Holy Trinity Church, Byng Street Orange followed by a wake at the Duntry League Golf Club.
