Cancelled: Wellington Polo Club Tournament, 6 & 7 April 2013

Sorry, I have been advised by Wellington Polo Club that this tournament is now cancelled.

Dear Clubs & Players,

On behalf of the President & committee of the Wellington & District Polo Club we would like to invite your club to nominate a team, teams &/or individuals  to play in our annual tournament to be held on the 6th & 7th April.

We have decided to change our date this year to attract more interest as we have not been able to run a tournament in the last few years because of lack of numbers.

We would like to keep the club alive for future generations that may like to play this wonderful sport as well as maintaining the history that is already here & providing another venue to play polo.

As with other clubs we are will be having 4 & 5 chukka polo, so when nominating could you please state your preference & we shall endeavour to accommodate.

Our ground fees will be : $200 per team for 5 chukkas & $160 per team for 4 chukkas.

Our ground is looking fantastic again this year with a really good cover of grass so we are expecting it to play really well.

Lunch will be available both days as well as a BBQ dinner  & full bar on Saturday night at the ground and it would be most appreciated if players , grooms & supporters could support our club.
