NSWPA Women's Championship Draw 2 & 3 April


The New South Wales Polo Association is excited and eagerly anticipating the arrival of Patrons, Players, and Spectators for the upcoming NSWPA Women's Championships. The event will take place at Troika Polo Club in the picturesque Hawkesbury Basin.

This year marks a significant milestone as it is set to be our largest Women's tournament yet, with an impressive total of 16 teams competing for victory on the polo field.

We look forward to showcasing top-tier  women's polo talent!

Tournament Information

  • A-grade teams - each team needs to provide a suitable umpire pony for your game at Troika Polo Club.
  • Access to Troika is through their main gates, which can be reached via Bells Line of Road onto Old Kurrajong Road due to roadworks. You will NOT be able to access it by coming down Old Kurrajong Road past Windsor Polo Club as the road is closed at the bottom corner.
  • Truck parking for Muddy Flatts Polo Club will be in the back paddock, not accessible via the main driveway.
  • There will be selectors on-site watching the games. They are not to be approached or engaged in any discussions regarding selections or players.

Finals:

  • A Grade - winners of round robin play the highest margin winner of the straight games
  • B Grade - winners of both straight games play
  • C Grade - winners of round robin play the winners of the straight game

Women's Coaching Clinic Tuesday 1 April

Don't forget to register for the Women's Coaching Clinic on Tuesday 1 April, which is designed for women who are interested in enhancing their polo skills. 

The coaching sessions will be led by well known former Australian polo players Andrew Williams and Philippa Fitz-Henry.

Participants can look forward to refining various aspects of their game, including ball control, strategic positioning, set play strategies, enhancing swing techniques, and mastering riding skills.
