DAVID BLACK

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of David Black, Jemalong Polo Club Player and Committee member who was tragically killed in a plane accident whilst fighting fires near Ulladulla on the NSW South Coast last Thursday 24th October 2013.

David aged 43, was not only a skilled pilot but also loved the adrenalin rush of playing polo.

David’s family including his parents Andrew and Sarah are long time ‘friends of polo’ having contributed to polo in both South Australia and NSW. David was also a life member of the NSW Polo Association, bequeathed to him from his grandfather, David Downes.

A sincere, warm hearted, generous man, David was a committed and loving husband and father and is survived by his wife Julie and three children, Oliver, Sophie and Adelaide.

The graveside funeral of David William Adair Black will be held at the Forbes Cemetery tomorrow, Friday 1st November at 11.30am.

The service is public.
