KH MARSHALL CUP: Kurri Burri Polo Club - 31 March to 3 April

The first major tournament of the autumn polo season in the Hawkesbury took place last weekend at the beautiful Kurri Burri Polo Club. Sixteen teams competed in three grades, with the finals played in glorious sunshine.

A Grade Final (12 goal): Marshall (Adam Marshall, Sam Hopkinson, Glen Gilmore, John Marshall) beat La Indiana (Nick Wills, Ed Goold, Ruki Baillieu, Mike King)

A Grade Subsidiary Final (12 goal): Jemalong (John Kahlbetzer, Jock Mackay, Andrew Williams, James Burkitt) beat Town and Country A (Jeremy Bayard, Rob Ballard, Kelvin Johnson, Brendan Fahey)

B Grade (6 goal): Altios (Ben Cowan, Hamish McGregor, Jock Mackay, Billie Mascart) beat Town and Country B (Tikki Brown, Greg Ballard, Rob Ballard, Josh Annear)

C Grade (2 goal): Kurri Burri (Jaye Allen, Ben Brown, Cooch Lynch, John Prendeville) beat Seabeck Engineering (Jason Varker-Miles, Ferdinand Furch, Shane Fagan, Dick Doolin)

Next tournament will be the Killarney 6-Goal at Killarney Polo Club, Old Kurrajong Road, Richmond, on 9 and 10 April. There will be 6-goal, 2-goal and 0-goal. Spectators will be very welcome.

To Polo Players Everywhere

Please nominate your team for the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of April at Kurri Burri Polo Club. Kurri Burri is holding its annual 12 goal K.H. Marshall Cup, 6 goal Kingswood Cup, 2 and 0 goal competition. Please nominate before this Saturday the 26th.

On the Saturday night Kurri Burri will be hosting an Argentine BBQ. So keep that night free!

A grade will be 6 chuckas and all other grades will be 4 chuckas, fees are $25.00 per chucka.
