The Jemalong Polo Club was formed as a result of Mr J.D. Kahlbetzer of Twynam Pastoral Company wanting to promote polo. The club held its first meeting in 1982 and a committee was formed to approach people in the Forbes district as to their interest, the result was very encouraging. A polo complex was built comprising two world class irrigated polo fields, a club house and horse accommodation. Jemalong has been privileged to have held the Australian Open & Hector King Championship Tournaments as well as holding at least two tournaments a year since the club foundation.

While continuing to remain a popular venue for high goal players from all over Australia and overseas, Jemalong remains a truie country polo club with great attributes such as friendship, camaraderie, competitiveness & most of all knowing how to have a good time!

We would like to get together to "reminisce" and be "part of the future" of Jemalong Polo. Please join us!
