Congratulations to the England team who won convincingly against Australia final result England 13 - Australia 8 (rec'd 2).

The Australian's led after the first chukka 3-2, but the English led 4-5 after the 2nd and grew this lead to 5-8 after the 3rd, then 5-11 after the 4th, 6-13 in the 5th and a final comeback by the Australians in the 6th but not enough to win. 

Colts: Congratulations to the Australian U21 team who defeated England U21 to win 7-5 in a close match.  The progressive score during the chukkas was 1-1, 3-2, 5-4 and 7-5.

It was a stunning day at Richmond and Windsor Polo Club looked it's best as a large crowd descended filling marquees, car boot spaces and picnicing on the sidelines.

Many people contributed to making the day such a success.  In particular, the horse lenders, the Committee of Windsor Polo Club and the team at Fairfax Media - Rural Press.

Location & Directions to Windsor Polo Club
The Windsor Polo Club Grounds are located west of Richmond in the Hawkesbury Valley of NSW, about one hour north-west of Sydney. This scenic region, at the foot of the Blue Mountains, is one of the oldest agricultural regions in NSW and a traditional centre of polo in the State.

To reach the grounds from Sydney, either:

•Leave the city via the M2 Motorway and Windsor Road. Turn left as you reach Windsor and drive to Richmond. At the turn to Kurrajong, continue along Windsor St and Old Kurrajong Road.

•Take the M7 Motorway to Blacktown and follow Richmond Road to Richmond. Turn right at Market St, Richmond and left into Windsor St and Old Kurrajong Road.
Entry to the Grounds is from Old Kurrajong Rd.

PLAYER INFO: AUSTRALIAN POLO FEDERATION CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The Australian Polo Federation is calling for nominations from players 5g & above who wish to be considered for selection for the Australia v England 22-24g test match on 7th April 2013 at Windsor and the 3 a side AUS v England RAS show polo on 30th March 2013. Players can nominate for either or both events and should be able to mount themselves for these matches.
The Australian Polo Federation has also invited the England 21 team to play the Australia Colts team in a 6-8g curtain raiser for the test match at Windsor Polo Club on the 7th April 2013 and a3 a side AUS Colts v England 21 RAS show polo on 28th March 2013. We are calling for nominations from players 0g & above, aged 21 & under at 01/01/2013 who wish to be considered for selection in the Australian representative colts’ team. Players can nominate for either or both events and should be able to mount themselves for these matches. It would be appreciated if players could nominate whether they are able to supply any horses for visiting players.
