Dear Clubs & Players

The Hector King Committee has drafted the following New guidelines for the 2014 tournament.  Any queries should be directed to Adam Tolhurst.

Qualifying for the 2014 Hector King trophy will be decided by 8 teams that have played in 1 of 4 marked tournaments;

Millamolong 8 goal, March 2014
Ellerston 8 goal, March 2014
Morton Cup B grade 8 goal
Dudley Cup B grade 8 goal

The teams that finishes either first or second in one of these preliminary tournaments will be eligible to compete for the Hector King Trophy.  If teams do not choose to play for the Hector King even if they have qualified the next best placed team will be selected from that tournament.

Team guidelines;

  • Teams are to play as a club team
  • No team is over 8 goals
  • The combination of the two highest rated players can not exceed the 8 goal limit.
  • If a team wins a qualifying tournament with a combination of two players handicap higher then the 8 limit, the team can still be eligible if they change no more then two of the players so the players handicap meets the tournament guidelines.
