Dear Clubs,

On behalf of the President & committee of the Wellington & District Polo Club we would like to invite your club to nominate teams to play in our annual tournament to be held on the 5th & 6th of September.

As with other clubs we are will be having 4 & 5 chukka polo, so when nominating could you please state your preference & we shall endeavour to accommodate.

Unfortunately our club hasn’t been able to have a tournament for some years now due to a lack of support, EI & then last year we were washed out. This was very disappointing for the committee and the members.

Our club needs your support if we are to remain a venue for polo in the country.

Our ground fees will be: $200 per team for 5 chukkas & $160 per team for 4 chukkas.

Our ground is looking the best it has for many years now after having a good rest & with a really good cover of grass so we are expecting it to play really well.

Lunch will be available both days as well as a BBQ dinner & full bar on Saturday night and it would be most appreciated if players, grooms & supporters could support our club.

Please contact one of the above numbers if you require any assistance with accommodation or stabling for our tournament.

Looking forward to seeing you here.

Regards

Jenny Barton
