Morton Cup Results
Rain at Windsor caused the cancellation for the 6 A-Grade teams originally entered and three other grades.

The tournament was transferred to Jemalong Polo Club at Forbes which had been very dry.

Four teams in the Morton Cup and two teams in the second division entered for the re-scheduled venue. 71 mm of rain fell on Friday evening causing the cancellation of Saturday and abandonment of the lower grade.
It was decided to play the Morton Cup on Sunday as a round robbin between the 3 teams who remained at Jemalong using a temporary field marked out east-west running across the two fields which are normally laid out north-south.

Marshalls beat Town & Country by a margin of 1.5 with same margin for Jemalong over Marshalls.
Town and Country defeated Jemalong by 2 goals to win the Morton Cup, Jemalong second and Marshalls third.

The pony prizes for R R Ashton Cup and F L Bragg Trophy were not judged due to the small number of ponies being played.




Please find attached the draw for the Morton Cup which is now being hosted by Jemalong due to the rain washing out the polo in the Hawkesbury Basin.

For those who weren’t on my previous email we will be running polo at Jemalong on the weekend.

Grades ideally will be the same as planned for Windsor but we will try to fit everyone into something.
