With fifty-seven female players in the draw, turnout for the Riverlands Ladies International was at a record high this year. The tournament started on Thursday with the four international teams playing two matches at Spencer Young's beautiful Yindarra Polo Club in the Richmond Lowlands. Shortly after the second game had finished, the rain arrived and Friday's matches were postponed to Saturday, which saw an uninterrupted schedule. However, more torrential rain on Saturday evening and overnight sadly resulted in the cancellation of all Sunday polo, other than the international matches. Miraculously, Windsor's number one field, which had been partially under water just twelve hours before, played well for the four teams who competed in front of a large crowd in glorious sunshine.

Overall Winner of International: Europe (Victoria Doolin, Billie Mascart, Sarah Martin, Nina Clarkin)

Most Valuable Player: Nina Clarkin

Pony prize was awarded to 'Jamaica' (played by Nina Clarkin; owned by Joe Curran)

Overall second: Australia (Amanda Tolhurst, Katie Grimmond, Petagay Railton, Kirsty Sullivan)

WCT (Women's Championship Tournament) Test Match: Australia (Amanda Tolhurst, Katie Grimmond, Petagay Railton, Kirsty Sullivan) beat New Zealand (Missy Brown, Kirsty Watson, Marnie Watson, Alex Jones)

Most Valuable Player: Kirsty Sullivan

__________________________________________

Unfortunately due to a big downpour yesterday afternoon and more showers overnight the only games that will be played today will be the 2 International ladies games.

Europe vs. USA @ 2.00pm
Australia vs. New Zealand @ 3.30pm

These matches will be played on Windsor 1. Please come and support our Australian ladies teams and International guests!

Don’t forget to enter the Trivett Classic Hole in One Competition for your chance to WIN a Harley Davidson.
