Result: Hector King Cup 8 goal, 12-13 and 19-20 March 2016

Hector King Teams and Draw 2016


The Hector King Cup was won by Marshall over Arunga by 8-4 goals.

Marshall Green: C.L. Lambie, D.C. Marshall, M.R. McKechnie, and K.B. Johnson.

The subsidiary-final for King Family Trophy saw Troika defeat South Australia by same 8-4 goals margin.

Troika:  P.E. Huston, D.P. O’Leary, J.R. Daniels and N.G.R. Vincent,

Curtis Skene Pony Prize for Champion Team of 2 ponies played by a player rated 3 goals or less was won by D.C. Marshall (Marshall Green) with Regatta and Wilma.

Regatta is a 9 year old Ellerston bred gelding and Wilma is a 8 year old Jemalong bred pony.

The King Family Trophy Subsidiary Final will be played between Troika and South Australia at 10.00am at Killarney Polo Club
Troika: Peter Huston, Dan O'Leary, Jake Daniels, Noel Vincent
South Australia: Thyne McGregor, Rick McCarthy, Corin Gibbs,Jock Maclachlan.

The 2016 Hector King will be held for 8 Goal teams (5 Chukkas).

Dates: 12 & 13 March and 19 & 20 March, Finals on Sunday 20 March.

Venues: to be confirmed – in the Hawkesbury

Fees: $30 per player per chukka. Minimum 4 games per team.
