Michelle McCarthy, Secretary of the Gunnedah Polo Club writes: The weekend went like a dream, threatened rain all day Saturday with drizzle and dark clouds but the field held up. Sunday the field was a little rough from Saturday but the sun shone all day. It was great to see enthusiasm in hosting 12 teams, maybe Polo is back in the bush. The standard of Polo was high and full of entertainment, lots of positive comments from spectators and Committee.
A Grade won by Scone A who defeated North Star 6 to 5 1/2
B Grade won by Quirindi A who defeated Gunnedah A 6 1/2 to 2
C Grade won by Gunnedah who defeated Tamarang 4 1/2 to 2.

Dear Clubs & Players
On behalf of the President and Committee of the Gunnedah Polo Club, it is my pleasure to invite your Club to nominate teams and or individual players to play at our Annual Polo Tournament, to be held on the 27th and 28th August.
A Grade will be five chukkas and
B Grade four chukkas. Nominations for A Grade teams will be $400 per team and other Grades $320 (ie $10 per chukka per player). We expect A Grade to be in the vicinity of 6 goals.
