Please find above the Final Draw for Saturday 31st May. Please note there have been changes to game times in the A grade due to player injuries and replacement players. Team Captains please ensure team mates are aware of any changes so that games are on time.

The tournament rules are as follows:

In the A Grade, the losers from the first day will go into the playoffs for the Sir J.J.Garvan Cup with the semi finals being held on Saturday and finals on Sunday. The winning A grade teams will go into the semi-finals for the Countess of Dudley Cup on Saturday with the 2 winning teams proceeding to the final of the Dudley Cup and the 2 losing teams proceed to the subsidiary final for the L.T.Watson Memorial trophy.

In the D grade, the 2 teams with the highest winning margins proceed to the final.

Games must start on time. Umpires be ready 10 minutes before your game so the ball is to be thrown in on time. If you are umpiring directly after/before you play please have your horse/s ready in order to avoid any delay.

There is zero tolerance on the use of bad language and penalties must be issued according to the Australian Polo Rule Book.

Points will be deducted from teams not carrying out their duties. The Rural Fire Service will be on hand to attend goal umpiring on most fields. If a team lodges a complaint then it will be investigated by the tournament committee. Team Captains are responsible for informing and ensuring their team carry out their duties.

Ground fees and THS numbers are to given to Mike Fitzgerald before the start of play Sunday.

The committee reserves the right to change game times and locations in the event of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances and their decision will be final.

All other rules to be in accordance with the Australian Polo Rule Book.

B Grade: 6 goal, 5 chukkas (3 days) - $300

D Grade: 0 goal, 4 chukkas - $160
E Grade: -2 goal, 4 chukkas - $160

Teams $400 Fuel Subsidy
Any club based team from outside the Hawkesbury area is eligible for a $400 fuel subsidy. These must be genuine club teams containing only members of that NSWPA Club. The subsidy will be payable after the tournament, upon NSWPA receiving written confirmation of team members.

Vychan Trophy - team of 3 ponies owned and played by a player rated on 2 goals or less
Curtis Skene Trophy - For the most improved player (no handicap limit applies and player must play in the Dudley Cup Tournament)

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Countess of Dudley Cup Tournament is one of this country's most traditional & prestigious trophies, so make a note in your diary to join us on the weekend.

Details: Everybody welcome, entry $15 per person (under 15 free). NSW Polo Association Members free entry with Membership Passes. Front row parking free, but not bookable. Food & drink available from the Clubhouse.

Tournament History

This 12 goal tournament, held to decide the premier Club in NSW, is the State Club Championships, and some of Australia's highest rated players will complete to win its trophy, The Countess of Dudley Cup, which was first presented at the inaugural tournament in 1910.

Directions to Windsor Polo Club, Old Kurrajong Road, Richmond

Take M2, M7 and Richmond Road/Blacktown Road Exit to Richmond. Windsor Road, the main road in Richmond turns into Old Kurrajong Road as it leaves town. The polo fields are approx 1 km out of town on the left hand side.
